What is Oployee?
Oployee is a startup focused freelancing marketplace that allows freelancers to create their profiles showing their expertise and skills. Whereas, the patrons/clients search freelancers for hiring by their verified skill sets. Oployee helps both to manage hiring and managing projects smoothly.
What is Freelance Member?
A Freelance Member is anyone who signs up with Oployee to perform projects / tasks assigned to them by various Patrons for money. They are called members as they are considered to be very much part of Oployee a bigger freelancing family.
What is Patron?
A Patron is anyone who signs up with Oployee to post a Project for outsourcing it to the Freelance Members and commits to make payments for tasks performed along with a minor commission to Oployee.
How do I get a job / project after I sign up?
At Oployee, our Patrons (clients) search for freelancers and send them invitations. The search and selection is completely based on the verified skills of the freelance members. Please complete your profile to the best of your ability. After our Skill Reviewers verify your skills, we will approve your profile and make it available for projects. Skill verification is a continuous process and will get to your profile soon. Please be patient as we finish the skill verification for the profiles created earlier than yours. Please remember once your skills are verified you will have a very high chance of getting a hired for projects.
Why did not I get activation email during sign up?
There could be two reasons: 1) The email may have gone to your spam or junk mail folder, 2) there could be some typing error in your email address while signing up. Please let us know if you do not find the activation email in your spam / junk mail folder.
Why am I not getting any response?
If you have signed up recently, you may need to wait for some time before an Oployee Skill Reviewer gets in touch with you. Oployee performs a rigorous skill verification with every individual freelance member to ensure that your skills are represented properly before the patrons. In case you are not receiving any response even after a week, please drop a message to Oployee Support.
How do I reset or retrieve my password?
In case you are unable to sign in with your existing password or have forgotten your password, you can request for password reset. You can directly go to http://www.oployee.com/forgot to reset your password. After you enter the email address that you originally signed up with, you will be asked to provide the answer of the secret question you had set. After successful submission, your new password will be sent to your email address. Please carefully type in the generated password to sign in. Once you sign in, please change your password from Edit Profile -> Account Settings.
Why cannot I log in or sign in with my password?
You may have forgotten your password. Or, there might be some issue/change that is preventing use of your existing password. If the problem persists, you may reset the password here: www.oployee.com/forgot
What is Oployee Jury?
Oployee Jury is a community of experts and highly experienced people who voluntarily review the skills that the freelance members list on their profiles. This enables Oployee to offer only skill verified freelancers to the Patrons.
Why do I have to attend an interview?
To complete reviewing the skills of a freelance member, relevant Jury member follow the following steps: 1) Review the profile and portfolio of the member, 2) Review the information provided by the freelance member through offline messages, 3) Conduct an interview using the inbuilt Instant Messaging (IM) to validated the knowledge and experiences. Once satisfied the Jury member puts appropriate proficiency ranking on each of the reviewed skill. Only reviewed and skill verified freelance members are eligible to attract projects on Oployee.
